THE PRE-CONSULTATION FOR YOUR NEWBORN SESSION

Pre-consultation is the very important first step in booking your newborn photos & portrait session! It is important to me to make sure that I understand what you would like to get from these newborn sessions to make it a personalized experience for both the baby and parents.

How and where will you display your images? What kind of art would you like to have?

We will talk about color selection and the overall feel and style that you desire for your images.

YOUR NEWBORN Photography PORTRAIT SESSION

The best time for newborn portraits is before your baby is two weeks old. This is the time when they are most sleepy and the curliest. Capturing more photos at this time provides a variety of options for parents to choose from, ensuring they get the best possible images to cherish

When you book your session, we will schedule a tentative date, but because babies arrive on their own time, I will ask you to email me as soon

as possible after your little one arrives to confirm our date and reschedule if necessary.

Your newborn session will take place in my home studio located in Hoover.

I have everything you will need for your photo shoot ~ an extensive collection of newborn props, fabrics, and wraps that have been carefully selected in my signature style. You don't need to bring a thing!

You can expect your newborn session to last anywhere from 2-4 hours, depending on how often your newborn baby needs to be fed and cuddled. ​

YOUR NEWborn Portraits: GALLERY DELIVERY

If you are willing to sign a model release, be on the lookout! I will post a sneak-peak of 1 or 2 of your newborn portraits on my social media sites.

Then, within three weeks of your baby photography session, we will have an ordering appointment where you can view your photos and place your custom art order.
